At L’Astrée campsite, holidays are all about relaxation, a friendly atmosphere and the great outdoors. Nestled in the heart of the Pilat Regional Nature Park in the Loire, the campsite offers the ideal setting to slow down and make the most of your stay in Bourg-Argental. With activities for the whole family and the campsite’s simple yet essential facilities, you’re sure to have a hassle-free stay.

Need to keep the little ones entertained? Head to the campsite’s playground! Swings and a slide are available for free use on the campsite.

The counter

Central lodge
Fancy a quiet break or somewhere sheltered? There’s a central lodge available on the campsite, with free access to: board games, a book box and a kitchen area (fridge, hob, oven, plates and cutlery).
Practical amenities
Laundry
Because even on holiday, you sometimes need to do a load of washing: there’s a laundry area on the campsite so you’ll have everything you need.
Motorhome service area
Waste water drainage and fresh water filling for motorhomes.
Cycling welcome
Secure garage, repair kit and small kitchen for cycle tourists.
Baby equipment
No need to bring everything with you! We provide equipment for your little ones and have a dedicated area in the toilet block.
Activities and leisure
Municipal swimming pool
Accessible via a small path leading from the campsite, the municipal outdoor swimming pool (heated) is open for swimming in July and August! It features a main pool, a leisure pool, a toddler pool with a water jet, a water slide and a slide. An admission charge applies, which is not included in the price of your stay.
Pétanque court
Pétanque court for friendly games with friends or family.
Table tennis
If you fancy a bit of friendly competition, there’s a table tennis table at your disposal. Near the campsite, you’ll find a fitness trail by the forest and a tennis court (available by booking at reception). Plenty of opportunities to enjoy the fresh air and the surrounding countryside!
In the great outdoors
Fishing
Do you enjoy peace and quiet and have a bit of patience? You can go fishing in the River Déôme, which runs alongside the campsite. Bring your rod – the fish are waiting for you!
