Situated at an altitude of 550 metres in Bourg-Argental (‘Les Portes du Soleil’), the L’Astrée campsite is the perfect spot for your stopover in the southern Loire region, between Lyon (1 hour 15 minutes) and Saint-Étienne (45 minutes), at the crossroads of the Ardèche and Haute-Loire departments! Here, you can swap your notifications for the great outdoors – a lovely spot to settle in and enjoy a camping break, get to know your neighbours on the site and discover the Loire and its hidden treasures: the Peaugres Safari Park, the Pilat Regional Nature Park, the local swimming pool… Ideally situated near major roads and the Route du Soleil, your family holiday will be all about unwinding, exploring and keeping things simple (with a touch of indulgence – it is a holiday, after all). On site, you’ll also find fully equipped accommodation for couples or families (for those who love camping but don’t skimp on the quality of their mattress). Whether you’re a fan of hiking, lazing about or evenings under the stars, you’ve come to the right place. And we promise, the only ‘traffic jam’ around here is the occasional crowd of hikers at the Sunday market! So, ready to go camping?
